Shri Radha, closely associated with Shri Krishna right from his childhood, is just not a character, but she has been accepted and established as a symbol of divine love and devotion towards an ideal in the Indian culture and tradition. She serves as a source of inspiration for thousands of devotees throughout the length and breadth of the country. Shri Krishna is incomplete without Shri Radha in the Indian religious beliefs. A two-day seminar was organized by Jnana-Pravaha on the 4^th and 5^th of September 2003 to explore the various facets of Shri Radha. The scholars who contributed their thoughts on the subject were Goswami Shyam Manoharji Maharaj, Prof. Rai Anand Krishna, Prof. Yugal Kishor Mishra, Dr. Ganga Sagar Rai, Dr. Shitala Prasad Upadhyaya, Dr. Kamla Pandeya, Dr. Shyam Sundar Shukla, Dr. Kusum Giri and Dr. Pranati Ghosal. The proceedings of the seminar are published in a book form for the benefit of the readers.
